IRIS series by Frank Schott

A selection of works from Frank Schott’s ongoing photography project since the late 1990s, capturing the details of the human iris and a pupil's unique abstractions. Captured with a large format camera and extreme macro lens, the series captures the mesmerizing individuality of the human eye’s iris, turning the fascinating color palette into abstract works of art.

Each work is printed at the artist studio in San Francisco and circular mounted behind acrylic glass with a retraced back frame for a floating in-situ installation.
